Javier Oroz Coppel | PARTNER
Born in Obregón, Sonora as the fourth generation of a family dedicated to agriculture and livestock, Javier chose a career in law, graduating top of his class at the University of La Salle and eventually obtaining several postgraduate studies in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Harvard, New York and Paris including a master’s degree in insurance and a specialization in international regulation and crisis. At the age of 31, he became the youngest General Counsel at one of the most important insurance companies in the country and currently is the Chief Risk Officer and General Secretary. He was the chairman for the legal area of the Mexican Insurance Association and has been awarded best General Counsel in Latin America by the Latin America Corporate Counsel Association, Corporate Social Responsibility Lawyer by Chambers and Partners and one of the best lawyers of México and Latin America by the Association of Corporate Counsel and Legal 500.
Les Matthews | CFO
Les is the co-founder and Managing General Partner of Mesa Capital Partners L.P., a Santa Fe, New Mexico Private Equity firm. He is also the Chairman of the Board Santa Fe, New Mexico Business Incubator and on the Board of Directors for Mitigare Hospice Care in San Miguel de Allende. Prior to that Les was the Founder and CEO of four U.S. healthcare companies which were Venture Capital/Private Equity Funded. He successfully raised more than $60M in Venture/Private Equity Funds, and was a principal in more than 50 mergers and acquisitions. Ana Sofia Oroz Coppel | COO
The youngest of the Oroz Coppel Coppel Family, Ana is working in the family business of agriculture and livestock. She graduated from International Trade in the University of La Salle and also receiving a degree in gastronomy. Two of her passions are art and being an entrepreneur . She had launched (CAOS) and a ecological product (Totis) where she promotes a sustainable, ecological lifestyle which encourages the preservation of green space in Mexico and reducing the excessive use of plastic.

George had a 26 year career in magazine publishing in Chicago, Los Angeles and New York City in the position as VP of the American HomeStyle Group, a division of the New York Times Women’s Magazines. Over an eight year period, he lead the sales growth to a $26M unit consisting of multiple new consumer and trade titles. In 1995, George formed his own publishing company, Contrada Publishing. He has developed several private properties as well as purchasing and developing a small Eco hotel on the Oaxacan Coast, of which he is the Operating Partner.

José is an Agricultural Production Engineer, Master in Horticulture ( - agave seed collection (Agave pacifica) for laboratory research and development, field work with agronomic management. He was the General Director of the Bacanora Regulatory Sonoran Council (CSRB) during 2017-2018 where he oversaw production licensing, accreditation to NOM and certification of production facilities. His company Agropecuaria TARO acts a a technical and operational advisor for companies that work in all areas of the Bacanora industry's production chain, from plant development, to the production of good quality “piñas” in order to increase production within the Denomination of Origin, essential for the sustainable development of the industry.

Jesús Manuel Félix García
Jesús is the CEO of HSO corporation, a hardware, construction and real estate company leader in the northwest of México and founded more than 30 years ago. He is also an investor and entrepreneur of a wide diverse portfolio of projects including former owner of a ranch located in the bacanora denomination of origin in the municipality of Quiriego, Sonora. He has a B.A. in Business Administration from the ITESM- in Monterrey, Nuevo León. Jesús lives in Ciudad Obregón, Sonora with his wife and 4 children.
Leonardo Amaya Jiménez
Leonardo was born in Obregón, Sonora MX, coming from a third generation family dedicated to agriculture. He has a degree as an Industrial Engineer & an MBA. Leonardo has been working in agribusiness for over 15 years holding several positions. He currently lives in Tampa Florida working for a Swiss company dedicated to commodities with exposure to global markets with main expertise managing Latin American markets.
